Terms & Conditions
Last updated:
Scope
These terms and conditions govern your access to the website operated by Charge Festival and your use of the digital services made available through it (together, the “online services”), including accounts, sports and experience registrations, informational pages, and related tools.
By using the site you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision, please do not use the website or the online services.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the online services, legal requirements, or our practices. The “Last updated” date shows the version in effect.
Continued use of the site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated version, to the extent permitted by law.
Acceptable use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access the site and publicly available content for personal, non-commercial purposes, in line with these terms and applicable law.
You must not use the site or any content in a way that could harm, overload, or compromise the security, availability, or integrity of the online services or related infrastructure.
- transmitting malware, harmful code, or engaging in phishing, spam, or similar abuse;
- attempting unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data;
- automated collection of content (e.g. scraping or crawling) without our prior written consent;
- use that infringes the rights of others or breaches applicable laws;
- creating false registrations, impersonating others, or sharing team join codes in a way that undermines fair participation.
Accounts and information you provide
Some features require you to create an account or submit personal data. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
We may suspend or close accounts where these terms are breached, where required by law, or for security reasons, where permitted.
Sports, teams, and experience registrations
Online registration for sports, teams, or experiences may be subject to eligibility rules (including age or competition groups), capacity limits (slots), deadlines, and additional event rules published on the relevant pages.
Submitting a registration does not by itself guarantee participation; we may accept, waitlist, refuse, or cancel registrations for operational, safety, eligibility, or capacity reasons.
Team captains are responsible for sharing join codes only with intended teammates and for ensuring team information is accurate. Participants (or their guardians, where applicable) must provide truthful details.
Festival programme and activations
Schedules, line-ups, sports formats, venues, and partner activations may change. Information on the site is provided for guidance and may be updated without prior notice where operationally necessary.
Some activations are operated with or by partners (for example fitness partners). Registration or participation through a partner may be governed by that partner’s own terms and privacy notice in addition to these terms.
Intellectual property
Trademarks, logos, text, images, site design and layout, and other materials on the site are protected by copyright, trade mark, and/or other intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our materials to you, except for the limited licence described above. Any reproduction, modification, or commercial exploitation requires our prior written consent.
Third-party services and links
The site may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. They are provided for convenience only; we do not control those third parties’ content or practices and are not responsible for them.
If you follow links to third parties, you do so at your own risk and their terms and policies apply.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The online services and site content are provided “as is” and “as available”, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or software.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the site, or from changes to the festival programme.
We do not exclude or limit liability where prohibited by law (for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other cases where liability cannot be limited).
Participation in physical sports or festival activities is at your own risk subject to on-site rules, waivers, and applicable law; additional conditions may apply at the venue.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of the site, inaccurate registration information, or infringement of third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without depriving you of mandatory protections that apply to you as a consumer in your country of residence where such rules cannot be waived.
Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Romania, where the law permits such agreement.
